A meta' strada tra nuove tendenze e arditi sogni tenuti nel lussuoso cassetto di un como' Luigi XVI c'e' il "floral backdrop", ovvero una parete floreale da creare nei luoghi chiave di un evento o di uno spazio.

L'idea semplice e folle di un muro tappezzato di centinaia e centinaia di fiori, compatto, colorato, intenso, minimale e barocco allo stesso tempo m'ha sempre lasciato senza fiato, vederlo poi realizzare da Sofia Coppola per lo spot di Miss Dior all'inizio di quest'anno e' stato assolutamente folgorante - ormai e' certo, questa donna vive nella mia testa :)

Da li' le campagne pubblicitarie moda si sono riempite di fiori e background floreali, riflettendo e rafforzando il gusto per il "totally flowered" in molti altri campi.

Le varianti spaziano da sipari di ghirlande fiorite a retroscena con fiori di carta, ma il vero lusso e l'assoluto must se si vuole realizzare il sogno fino in fondo e' una cascata di fiori veri - per farvi un'idea andate a vedere l'eccezionale lavoro di Rebecca Louise Law in occasione della pre-fall collection dinner di Jimmy Choo presso Clifton Nurseries.

Che siate una sposa oppure no, la moda dei fiori tra i capelli e' definitivamente tornata.
Dal singolo fiore a ricche e vistose "coroncione" ogni formato va bene, purche' ravviviate la vostra capigliatura con il tocco colorato e naturale dei fiori.
Una chicca: secondo l'usanza hawaiana, indossare un fiore dietro l'orecchio destro e' segno che la donna e' single e in cerca di un compagno; un fiore dietro l'orecchio sinistro indica invece che si e' in una relazione stabile ed appagante.

E' ufficialmente cominciata la "wedding season"e ho pensato di darvi qualche dritta sui trend floreali del momento.
Per questa primavera-estate 2013 e' assolutamente un MUST il look rilassato e fresco dei fiori di campo appena raccolti, per cui:
IN: Peonie, ranuncoli, rose di giardino ( piu' spampanate sono e meglio e'), ortensie, margherite, camomilla. Vanno ancora forte le succulente...io le adoro :)
OUT: Orchidee e verdi tropicali ( no a palme, dracaena e foglie strutturate dalle forme larghe e definite)
STILE
IN: floral decor informale fatto di ghirlande, vecchi vasi e contenitori vintage e organici (gabbie, vecchie valige, cassette di legno, corteccia, muschio, ecc)
OUT: vasi vetro trasparente e brillante, centrotavola alti e opulenti
COLORI
IN: Il verde la fa sicuramente da padrone : Smeraldo, menta, turchese,verde acido; anche la palette dei coralli, pesca e arancio pastello
OUT: Consiglio personale: per favore basta con il TOTAL WHITE ! Siamo abbastanza 'donne' da permetterci un po' di colore :)
BOUQUET
IN: Lunghi, cascanti e "selvatici" possibilmente con edere, gelsomini e verdi rampicanti. Assolutamente in anche tutti gli accessori per capelli, prevalentemente coroncine.
OUT: Abolire i verdi scuri tipo felci, Aspidistra e tristezze varie...

The wedding season has officially begun and here are some tips on floral trends.
For this spring-summer 2013 WE LOVE the relaxed look of freshly picked wildflowers, therefore: 
IN: peonies, ranunculus, garden roses (overblown is even better ),hydrangeas, daisies, chamomile. The succulents are still going strong ... I love them :) 
OUT: Orchids and tropical greens (no palms or broad and structured leaved foliage)
STYLE 
IN: casual decor made ​​of floral garlands, old pots,vintage containers and organic vessels (cages, old suitcases, boxes of wood, bark, moss, etc.) 
OUT: clear glass vases and tall and opulent centerpieces 
COLORS 
IN: Green is big: Emerald, mint, turquoise and lime green. Also, include in your palette some coral, peach or nectarine...sweet and stylish 
OUT: Personal advice: please stop with the TOTAL WHITE! Beautiful women as we are, we enjoy a little bit of color :)
BOUQUET
IN: Long, sagging and "wild" possibly with ivy, jasmine and green vines. Absolutely IN all hair accessories , mostly crowns. 
OUT: Abolish dark greens like ferns, Aspidistra and sad stuff like that...
